TransGlobal Logistics Ltd., and other leading transportation and logistics companies based in UK known for its expertise in providing reliable freight services to clients worldwide are currently seeking to hire competent, dedicated and experienced personnel to work as Truck Drivers. They’ll handle the delivering goods on time and in perfect condition
- Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time
- Location: USA (Multiple Locations)
- Salary Expectation: USD 20 – USD 30 per hour (depending on experience, license, and position)
What you’ll be doing
- Loading cargo onto trucks and unloading goods upon arrival at the destination.
- Securing cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport
- Operating trucks and tractor-trailers to transport goods over short or long distances,
- Adhering to traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Planning and optimizing delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance checks on trucks
- Completing and maintaining accurate records and documentation related to shipments,
What’s required of you
- Valid CDL with the appropriate endorsements
- Previous experience as a truck driver or commercial driver
- Clean driving record and a strong knowledge of safe driving practices and regulations
- Good physical health and stamina
- Ability to sit for long periods, lift and carry heavy objects
- Familiarity with local and regional road networks
- Effective communication skills
- Capable of thriving under pressure
