- Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
- Location: USA (Multiple Locations)
- Salary Expectation: USD 15 – USD 25 per hour (depending on experience and skill level)
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to ensure a smooth and uniform finish
- Applying paint, stain, or varnish to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Ensuring even coverage and attention to detail
- Mixing and matching paint colors to achieve desired shades and hues following clients’ specifications and color schemes
- Creating decorative finishes to add visual interest and dimension to walls and surfaces
- Adhering to safety protocols and regulations and safe handling of painting materials and equipment
What’s required of you
- High school diploma
- Previous experience as a painter or decorator in residential or commercial settings
- An eye for color and design
- Proficiency in surface preparation techniques, paint application methods, and knowledge of different types of paints, finishes, and coatings
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work neatly and efficiently
- Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and in various weather conditions
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Effective communication skills
