Compassionate Care Services Ltd., and other leading provider of home care and support services based in Canada are currently seeking to hire compassionate and dedicated personnel to join their diverse team as Caregivers. They’re committed to providing compassionate, personalized care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being

  • Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
  • Location: Canada
  • Salary Expectation: CAD 30,000 – CAD 40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

What you’ll be doing

  • Assisting clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting with sensitivity and respect for their dignity and privacy
  • Administering medications according to prescribed schedules and documenting medication intake as required
  • Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks that meet the dietary preferences and restrictions of clients
  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
  • Assisting clients with mobility tasks such as transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking, and using assistive devices, to promote independence and safety
  • Providing emotional support, companionship, and social engagement to client
  • Assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying living areas, doing laundry, and running errands
  • Ensure a clean and comfortable environment for clients

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing needs and situations in a dynamic caregiving environment
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Capable of lifting, bending, and assisting with transfers
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as First Aid/CPR certification or Personal Support Worker (PSW) training is preferred but not mandatory
