Job Description

We have renowned hospitality management companies based in Dubai, UAE known for its commitment to delivering unparalleled luxury experiences to guests worldwide currently seeking to hire competent, reliable, and dedicated hands to join their team of dedicated laundry attendants who will be committed to providing high-quality and freshly laundered linens to hospitality and healthcare establishments.

  • Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time
  • Location: UAE (Multiple Locations)
  • Salary Expectation: AED 2,000 – AED 3,500 per month (depending on experience and position)

What you’ll be doing

  • Sorting and separating linens, garments, and textiles according to color, fabric type, and laundering instructions
  • Operating commercial washing machines and dryers to launder linens and garments
  • Using appropriate cleaning agents and detergents in the washing of linens and garments
  • Pressing and ironing linens and garments using steam presses or flat irons to remove wrinkles and ensure a smooth finish
  • Folding and packaging laundered linens and garments neatly and accurately
  • Inspecting laundered items for cleanliness, stains, and damage
  • Ensuring that laundered items meet quality standards before being sent for delivery

What’s required of you

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Ability to ensure thorough cleaning and organization
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced cleaning environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills,
  • A friendly and courteous demeanor
  • Prior experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a residential or commercial setting is an added advantage
